Mizzou-Texas Game Time

Barking Carnival is saying that the MU/UT game in Austin, October 18, will be at either 2:30 or 7.

Which is better for Mizzou fans? When I say “better” I am speaking strictly for gameday atmosphere/party feel/Austin enjoyment. A UT win or loss against OU, as Braggon cites as the determining factor in ABC’s choice, does not factor in my inquiry.

The entire AT crew will be there. How can we maximize our fun? My take is the 2:30 game would be better. We’ll be in Friday, go out, get some sleep (not Roberto, of course), get up and take in some pre-game festivities, go to game, and then have plenty of time to enjoy post-game activities. The 7 pm game frontloads the action too much and I know a certain AT member can’t handle all that frontloading.

Ok, no more about the UT game until Sunday.

2:30 for sure, although 7 at least gives some time, especially in Austin (I assume bars are 3 am there?) for fun. This getting done at midnight is for the birds.
